The development of appropriate digital skills in terms of human resources is an integral part and plays a key role in the well-being of society as well as the uninterrupted operation of the state and the economy. The Ministry of Digital Governance formulates and implements a coherent strategy and promotes important interventions for the acquisition and enhancement of the basic, intermediate and advanced digital skills of all citizens.
The development of digital skills in society as a whole is a prerequisite for people to search for information and data, create and share digital content, communicate, solve problems and collaborate in a digital environment for a more efficient and creative attitude towards their life, learning, work and social activities.
Reducing unemployment, boosting competitiveness and stimulating the economy through the development of digital skills are key issues in the labor market.
The harmonization and continuous adaptation of the educational programs as well as the learning process based on the continuous technological developments that highlight new requirements in skills and abilities.
The timely and targeted use of the opportunities of "Lifelong Learning" for the continuous acquisition of new skills, so that citizens can respond despite the ever-changing situations in their personal, academic and professional life.
The strengthening of digital skills in Public Administration, aiming at the continuous development of human resources and the digital transformation of the Public Sector, thus providing increasingly better electronic services to citizens and businesses.
The development of a set of necessary digital skills by the citizens, which will enable them to use the electronic services offered by the Public Sector today and in the future.
Implementing initiatives to address the mismatch between the skills needed by the labor market and the skills offered by formal citizen education.

Dissemination of the European policy for digital skills in Greece, the cooperation of its members for the information and sensitization of the society regarding the necessity of acquiring and developing digital skills.
