The global agri-food sector is called upon to increase production in order to ensure the food security of the world population. Increasing productivity, however, must be achieved through sustainable methods, addressing modern environmental challenges. The digital strategy for the agri-food sector aims at harnessing the potential of digital technologies in the three main areas: Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries. Each product follows a process of production, processing, standardization, packaging, distribution and final disposal.
